Because of our partnerships with carriers like American Central Transport, Class A CDL truck drivers at Apex CDL Institute have great entry-level opportunities upon graduation. ACT is a 100% dry van truckload service that is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, and is still family-owned and operated since its founding in 1972. Apex students will have the opportunity to qualify for Tuition Reimbursement through ACT.

ACT Truck Driver Pay

ACT strives to pay its drivers well, wanting them to build a profitable career with the company. Their salaries are very competitive within the industry and have plenty of bonus opportunities for their drivers. They also allow drivers to lease their trucks and increase their pay! In 2018, they increased their driver’s pay across the board and gave drivers more bonus opportunities while driving.

Modern Equipment and Amenities

ACT runs 2015 and newer KW T680s and Freightliner Cascadia’s and has 2014 and newer trailers as well. Having modern equipment ensures drivers are taken care of and have the best possible equipment to work with.

Recently, ACT has built a new office and headquarters in Kansas City, MO. The ACT Plaza houses the Corporate Office, Maintenance Facility, Training Center, and Services Center. The Plaza gives drivers a place to rest, do laundry, work out, shower, and relax when they come in for scheduled maintenance or reset their hours of service.
